Eight years ago, in the midst of the longest period of depression in my life, I began practicing an iterative, process-based approach to healing and well-being that I call Radical Balance.
'Radical' means 'originating from the root,' suggesting that balance isn't something you need to create, but rather, a natural state you can discover within yourself. This balance isn't static or unchanging—it's a vibrant dance of harmony, diversity, self-sustenance, and constant adjustment, much like the principles that govern nature and natural systems.

An Evolving Journey with Radical Balance

My understanding and application of Radical Balance have been shaped by my own experiences over the past eight years, and it continues to evolve with each passing week. Every Sunday, I take a moment to sit still, to reflect on my journey, to acknowledge my triumphs and mistakes, and to decide what to carry forward and what to leave behind. 457 weeks later, and I am thriving with sustained well-being and have helped dozens of persons embark on their own journeys using the Radical Balance approach.
This process isn't about striving for perfection, but about learning to embrace the natural ebb and flow of life. It's about letting go of what doesn't serve us anymore, and daring to try new ways of being. It's about being open to constant change, and trusting our capacity to adapt and grow.
I invite you to join me on this journey. Not because I have all the answers, but because I've been where you might be right now. I've felt the discomfort, the uncertainty, the resistance. And I've also felt the exhilaration of breaking through these barriers, of discovering a deeper sense of balance and peace within myself.
So, I offer you these insights, not as prescriptions, but as invitations. Try them out. See how they resonate with your own experiences. Keep what works, and let go of what doesn’t. Keep taking the next step.
