I have been intentionally working with and studying psychedelics for over 30 years.
Psychedelics are another gateway to healing trauma and becoming whole.
Your journey is unique, but there are guiding principles
With decades of experience in facilitating psychedelic sessions, I've come to appreciate the vast diversity of people's inner worlds. Each journey towards healing and wholeness is as distinct as the person journeying. Still, even with all this variation, some universal human themes emerge: the importance of intention, the profound challenges of trusting, surrendering, letting be, encountering; and the critical importance of engaged integration if any change is going to last.
Question the hype
A lot of what you hear about psychedelics is part of a narrative—one story—that’s largely being shaped by capitalist motivations and scientific reductionism. Those voices are often dominating the conversation with wealth and powerful behind them. In doing this, they sideline and disregard the broader, holistic histories and properties of these psychedelics as understood by indigenous cultures and holistic practitioners.
For countless years, human communities have known psychedelic substances, not as merely plants or isolated molecules, but as healers, sometimes even sentient entities, with whom we enter into profound relationships. So if you want to really begin to understand psychedelics and their potential, it is important to question the hype and perhaps engender a broader, more comprehensive understanding. By doing so, you can appreciate the many facets and faces of these healing entities.
It’s not about the medicine, per se
The heart of my coaching practice is rooted in a deep confidence in human wholeness. Psychedelics, or entheogens, offer a way to connect with intrinsic healing intelligence. Skilled guides can help you navigate the hype and “magic pill” narratives, leading to the authentic, holistic benefits that entheogens have to offer.
My exploration and dedication to this profound work stem from the motivation to help heal and serve, and a deep reverence for the ancient and intricate bond that exists between humans and these psychoactive entities. It’s in that spirit I offer these resources, which I hope may support your journey.
