Dr. Richard Davidson and the Center for Healthy Minds at UW-Madison have developed a free, research-based and well-produced meditation app called Healthy Minds. This app can be a great tool for us to work on meditation together. The app offers various exercises and allows you to select the duration of your session, choose from different narrators, and most importantly, you can choose between sitting or active meditation. Active meditation is when you engage in an activity like doing the dishes, taking a walk, or gardening, that doesn't require your full attention. This feature will allow you to customize and adapt your meditation session based on your preferences and circumstances.
