Meditation is a vast topic with many different approaches. The question of which kind of meditation is "right" depends on why you are meditating. What's your intention for training your mind?
Healing trauma, finding balance, and becoming whole are the main orientations of Radical Balance coaching. Those outcomes depend upon an awareness of what's happening in your body, emotions, mind, and environment—in the present moment. That present-moment awareness allows you to observe your experience without getting caught up in it. That moment of space between what you feel and how you respond is the fruit of meditation that you’re looking for, because in that space you can train new responses and behaviors. This is straightforward, but very challenging, especially at first.
